Hello! Hola! and Bienvenidos to Raices. Raices Behavioral Health PLLC was created with the intentions of providing quality mental health care to the BIPOC communities. Raices which means "roots" celebrates and embraces your identity and culture. Our main goal is for you to feel en confianza, so you can finally have a therapist who you can relate with. My Name is Irmarie D. Rios (she/her). I'm a bilingual (Spanish/English y Spanglish) and bicultural first generation Latina. I have a master's degree in Clinical counseling with a Latino Mental Health specialization. I've been providing mental health services for 12 years and I am now the owner of Raices Behavioral Health, PLLC. My clients are BIPOC adults, children/teens who struggle with life and/or family expectations, who feel that no matter what they do "it is not good enough" or who struggle in setting healthy limits and "boundaries" -a term that can be difficult to talk about in our communities.
